Maurice White From ‘Earth Wind & Fire’ Dies

Maurice White died in his sleep Thursday. He was 74 years old.

The founding member of “Earth Wind & Fire” passed away at his Los Angeles home after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, TMZ reports.

White stopped touring with the group in 1994, two years after he was diagnosed with the disorder, but he still was part of the band’s decisions.
