NFL star Jared Allen posted a great Twitter video announcing his retirement from professional football.
Allen sat on his horse while wearing a great cowboy hat and told the audience, “Well everyone I just want to say thank you for an amazing 12 year career. This was the part where I was gonna ride off into the sunset, but seeing how there’s no sunset I’m just going to ride off.” (RELATED: Beast Mode Hangs Up Cleats After Great NFL Career)

Allen has had a Hall of Fame caliber career with several different teams. The Idaho State University product retires from the NFL with 136 sacks. (RELATED: The Sports World Reacts To The Possibility That Calvin Johnson Will Retire)
The former Minnesota Vikings star was also known for being a pillar of his community and being a big supporter of the military. In 2009, he went on a USO tour overseas to spend time with deployed soldiers.
