The Hate Within The Social Justice Warrior

Social justice warriors rampaged throughout the nation Tuesday night.

When Donald Trump made a campaign stop in Albuquerque, N.M, youths brandishing the Mexican flag rioted in the city and attacked police officers in response to the presence of The Donald. This wasn’t the first time anti-Trump demonstrators turned violent this election cycle as similar events occurred in Chicago in March and in California in April. (RELATED: Mexican Flag-Waving Mob Attacks Police, Horses Outside Trump Rally)

Speaking of Chicago, Breitbart writer and famed provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos visited DePaul University in order to give a talk. Unfortunately, the event was disrupted by Black Lives Matter activists who took over the stage and threatened Yiannopoulos with violence. Security stood by and watched the chaos unfold without raising a finger. (RELATED: DePaul University Descends Into Chaos Over Milo Yiannopoulos Visit)

Outside of the event, demonstrators slung insults and physically harassed attendees of Yiannopoulos’ talk. Security, once again, did little to restrain the offenders.

The two events were symbolic of the kind of violence that left-wing agitators feel is justifiable against their enemies. There’s no equivalent for these vile acts on the American Right. Just compare the level of aggression between Black Lives Matter and the Tea Party.

It appears violent protests do the exact opposite of helping the leftist cause. These acts only encourage voters to sympathize with the targets of these attacks, which in these cases are Trump and Yiannopoulos.

There’s not much of rational reason for this behavior. The liberal site Vox clutched at straws trying to find an excuse for rioting against Trump, eventually settling on “peaceful protest is invisible.” The main Milo hater at DePaul (who, by the way, wasn’t a student) justified his aggression with the outlandish claim that his opponent “threatens my safety” because Yiannopoulos’ rhetoric causes massacres.

SJWs are a deluded kind, you know.

The hysterics of these protesters are typical of what we’ve witnessed at many college campuses in recent years and shouldn’t come as a surprise. What is most troubling though is the amount of hate these people have.

The typical narrative envisions that those who attend Trump rallies or Milo talks are driven by hate and those who oppose them are motivated by love. However, at all of these incidents, the rabidly intolerant seem to be the ones screaming about racism, not the folks in the red Make America Great Again hats.

Videos from the Milo event reveal a whole lot of anger and little reason. A blogger filming protesters trolled a girl shouting “check your privilege” with advice on losing weight. That response turned the demonstrator into a ball of fury as she attacked the man and shrieked, “Fuck you, you fucking racist!”

Other incidents show a white female gleefully telling Milo fans to “pick up your Trump shit, white male!” In another clip, she’s seen taunting attendees with more racial invective before trying to take a reporter’s phone.

The rage of the stage disruptors is amply clear, as the two ringleaders felt they were in the right by physically harassing Yiannopoulos. And there’s no need to clarify that Trump’s Mexican flag-waving rioters were filled with hate towards the presumptive GOP nominee and his supporters.

So why are these haters given the image of righteous, but loving renegades? Because they are targeting figures the liberal elites despise, despite using tactics those same snobs would frown upon.

The real question, though, is why are these individuals so full of hate for Americans who have a different point of view. Our society likes to brag we encourage reasonable debate between people who can agree to disagree. At the end of the day, we can all come together on sharing the same values and aspirations, or so the story goes.

In reality, that can only take place when people actually do share the same values and have a similar view of the country in which they live in. That’s not the case today. The young people rioting out in the streets and disrupting peaceful have been taught, and believe, America was an evil country from the beginning. It was built on white supremacy. It stole land from the Indians and Mexicans. It’s derived from that cancer on the human race, western civilization.

This is the message the protesters have heard since grade school, and it’s only drilled in further during their college years. That message leads them to believe that people who don’t buy into that orthodoxy are racists themselves and are what’s the matter with this country. Conservative white people aren’t just wrong in their views, they’re fundamentally evil. And they have white privilege. And they can’t help but be unconsciously racist.

Coupled with the typical moral self-righteousness of the Left, and you have zealous agitators who are hellbent on crushing anyone who may resemble the villainous characters they read about in their textbooks. Dead white males are problematic, and so are their living descendants. That’s why get the ridiculousness of a young white female jeering at “white males” like they’re a race of foreign conquerors.

With all the progress in our country in favor of the Left, you’d think there would be a lot of happiness within the SJW crowd. But it appears that left-wing extremists have only gotten angrier with every advancing step. This is likely due to the increasing prevalence of rhetoric such as “checking white privilege” and spouting off about “institutional racism” that has taken hold of our most-valued institutions.

An eyeopening article at The Federalist recently argued this “anti-white rhetoric” is encouraging white nationalism. On the other side of the coin, the hate is leading to riots in Albuquerque.

For all the talk about love and tolerance, it seems no amount of progress will ever make the hateful Left happy.

Readers,

Instead of sucking up to the political and corporate powers that dominate America, The Daily Caller is fighting for you — our readers. We humbly ask you to consider joining us in this fight.

Now that millions of readers are rejecting the increasingly biased and even corrupt corporate media and joining us daily, there are powerful forces lined up to stop us: the old guard of the news media hopes to marginalize us; the big corporate ad agencies want to deprive us of revenue and put us out of business; senators threaten to have our reporters arrested for asking simple questions; the big tech platforms want to limit our ability to communicate with you; and the political party establishments feel threatened by our independence.

We don't complain -- we can't stand complainers -- but we do call it how we see it. We have a fight on our hands, and it's intense. We need your help to smash through the big tech, big media and big government blockade.

We're the insurgent outsiders for a reason: our deep-dive investigations hold the powerful to account. Our original videos undermine their narratives on a daily basis. Even our insistence on having fun infuriates them -- because we won’t bend the knee to political correctness.

One reason we stand apart is because we are not afraid to say we love America. We love her with every fiber of our being, and we think she's worth saving from today’s craziness.

Help us save her.

A second reason we stand out is the sheer number of honest responsible reporters we have helped train. We have trained so many solid reporters that they now hold prominent positions at publications across the political spectrum. Hear a rare reasonable voice at a place like CNN? There’s a good chance they were trained at Daily Caller. Same goes for the numerous Daily Caller alumni dominating the news coverage at outlets such as Fox News, Newsmax, Daily Wire and many others.

Simply put, America needs solid reporters fighting to tell the truth or we will never have honest elections or a fair system. We are working tirelessly to make that happen and we are making a difference.

Since 2010, The Daily Caller has grown immensely. We're in the halls of Congress. We're in the Oval Office. And we're in up to 20 million homes every single month. That's 20 million Americans like you who are impossible to ignore.

We can overcome the forces lined up against all of us. This is an important mission but we can’t do it unless you — the everyday Americans forgotten by the establishment — have our back.

Please consider becoming a Daily Caller Patriot today, and help us keep doing work that holds politicians, corporations and other leaders accountable. Help us thumb our noses at political correctness. Help us train a new generation of news reporters who will actually tell the truth. And help us remind Americans everywhere that there are millions of us who remain clear-eyed about our country's greatness.

In return for membership, Daily Caller Patriots will be able to read The Daily Caller without any of the ads that we have long used to support our mission. We know the ads drive you crazy. They drive us crazy too. But we need revenue to keep the fight going. If you join us, we will cut out the ads for you and put every Lincoln-headed cent we earn into amplifying our voice, training even more solid reporters, and giving you the ad-free experience and lightning fast website you deserve.

Patriots will also be eligible for Patriots Only content, newsletters, chats and live events with our reporters and editors. It's simple: welcome us into your lives, and we'll welcome you into ours.

We can save America together.
