Orlando Terrorist Omar Mateen Once Threatened To Shoot Up Elementary School
According to Omar Mateen’s fifth-grade classmates, the 10-year-old future terrorist was once suspended for two weeks after he threatened to bring a gun to school and kill all of his classmates.
Leslie Hall — one of Mateen’s classmates at Marisopa Elementary School — told TMZ that Mateen was a bully and frequently harassed both students and teachers.
Mateen reportedly told a group of students that he planned on bringing a gun to school to kill everyone there, a threat which “was not received as a joke.” Multiple former classmates confirmed the incident to TMZ.

The school district declined TMZ’s request for comment.
Hall’s story comes just one day after Mateen’s high school classmates recalled seeing him celebrate the September 11 terror attacks in New York. (RELATED: Orlando Terrorist Cheered On 9/11, Classmates Say)
Classmate Robert Zirkle claimed he “was making plane noises on the bus [on the way home], acting like he was running into a building… After 9/11 happened, he started changing and acting different.”
On Sunday, Mateen opened fire at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Fla.
He reportedly called 9/11 during the attack and pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State.
Mateen killed 49 people and wounded 53 others, making the Orlando attack the deadliest mass shooting in United States history, as well as the deadliest terror attack on American soil since 9/11.
