MSNBC anchor Brian Williams ignored the fact that Donald Trump criticized him during an anti-Hillary Clinton speech when Williams took over the network’s live coverage.
While hitting Clinton for being a “world class liar,” Trump referred to the “phony landing in Bosnia where she said she was under attack but the attack turned out to be young girls handing her flowers, a total self-serving lie.” (RELATED: ‘The Most Corrupt Person Ever To Seek The Presidency’: Read Donald Trump’s Anti-Hillary Speech)

In 2015, Williams was suspended from his anchor role at NBC’s “Nightly News” for lying about being aboard a helicopter in Iraq that was brought down by RPG fire in 2003.
Williams did not mention his inclusion in the speech.
Instead, Williams said, “Donald Trump started by saying this whole effort is his attempt to give back to his country. He made a brief plea to attract Bernie Sanders supporters to the Trump campaign and then went on the full-blown attack, as was expected in this speech, against Hillary Clinton.”
