This week’s 20-year-old female karate teacher arrested for allegedly trying to have sex with an 11-year-old boy and sending him a bunch of nude photos is Stephannie Figueroa.
Police in Orlando, Fla. arrested Figueroa, an employee at Next Gen Xtreme Martial Arts, last week, reports Orlando ABC affiliate WFTV.
The 11-year-old boy’s mother says she discovered messages from Figueroa on her son’s mobile phone, according to a police report.
In one of the messages, police say, Figueroa wrote that she “could not wait for another sleep over at the karate school, so she could have sex with him in a hard way.”
Over the course of three months, the karate teacher also allegedly sent the boy fully nude photos of herself as well as photos of various body parts — 15 photos in all, according to a police report obtained by WFTV.
Figueroa also invited the boy to her home for a 21st birthday bash, police said.

Figueroa and the boy reportedly communicated through a messaging app called Kik — “No phone numbers, just pick a username.”
The case against Figueroa appears to be far from a slam dunk because the boy’s mother was apparently unable to produce any of these messages for police. It’s not clear if investigators can obtain the evidence some other way — or if the messages actually exist.
Figueroa and the boy flirted, the boy told police. In an encounter when they were alone together, she allegedly placed her hand on his thigh, according to South Florida CBS affiliate WPEC.
According to the police report, one alleged messaging exchange between Figueroa and the boy went like this:
Figueroa: “I want to have sex with you.”
The 11-year-old boy: “OK IDC”
“IDC” in chat language typically means “I don’t care.”
The karate school sleepover to which Figueroa alluded never occurred, police said. Figueroa’s alleged words suggest there may have been prior sleepovers. However, details are unavailable.
As of Thursday morning, the Next Gen Xtreme Martial Arts Facebook page contains video of Figueroa in impressive karate action.
Figueroa faces several charges, including solicitation of a minor, attempted lewd conduct and showing obscene material to a minor.
