John Teigen, one of the security contractors who was in Benghazi on the night of the terrorist attack, blasted “incompetent” Hillary Clinton for her role, insisting that people died because of her.
Appearing on Fox News’s “Your World” with guest host Trish Regan on Thursday, Teigen responded the the Washington Post editorial that argued that the Americans who died in the Benghazi attack could have been saved. Teigen said, “Of course they could have been saved. Obviously if the military — the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the commanders, the Secretary of Defense, was doing their job and not having a whole entire Air Force base on pretty much maintenance the day of 9/11, of course they could have been saved.”
“Anybody that’s been in the military knows that’s a bunch of bull,” Teigen argued. “There’s just no way they’re going to shut down” an entire air force base, “for maintenance or whatever they were calling it.” (RELATED: Mother Of Benghazi Victim Slams Hillary: ‘All She Has Done Is Lied’ [VIDEO])
Teigen went on to argue that “it’s inconceivable that any military commander on the ground would do that.”
Regan followed up asking what Teigen wished was done differently and one of the members of the annex security team replied, “For one, I wish the State Department would listen to the guys on the ground. That probably would have stopped the attack from ever even starting because instead of being a soft target, they would be hard target.” (RELATED: Former Navy SEAL: Hillary ‘Killed My Friends’ In Benghazi [AUDIO])
Teigen went on the blast “pencil pushers” in Washington, D.C. who don’t know how to “do their jobs because they’re more worried about what makes them look good versus lets help save and protect and lives overseas [that are] in a high threat zone.”
The former Marine went on to criticize Clinton for failing Ambassador Chris Stevens and Sean Smith, two of the Americans who died “because of her” in the attack because she didn’t address properly the security “situation” on the ground in Benghazi.
Regarding the Obama administration’s response to the attack, Teigen said “no” he doesn’t think the administration has been telling the truth.
According to Teigen, Barack Obama and Clinton just “want to tell you want to hear at the moment and then they go something else once their outside your face.”
“All we just want from our government is the truth. Obviously there’s some things that don’t need to be out in the public. Obviously got keep some things top secret, but when you lose an ambassador because you’re incompetent in your job and you’re in dereliction of duty… that’s just incompetence in their management.”
