Believe It Or Not, There Are Actually Deals After The Fourth Of July

The last couple months have featured quite the run of sales. Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day and the Fourth of July all corresponded with big savings on a slew of items. Traditionally, the weeks right after the Fourth mark a dead period for sales, which are often hard to find until the End of Summer/Back to School/Labor Day run.

Amazon is keenly aware of this, which is why they have established July 12, as Prime Day. On Tuesday, the online retailing giant will put up sales on 100,000 items, offering deeper discounts than even Black Friday. Amazon sees the void in the sale calendar, and they are seizing the opportunity.

In the lead up Prime Day, Amazon is offering plenty of other discounts to get people in the holiday spirit. One of the best available is up to 70 percent off on a wide variety of clothing, watches and more in their Fashion section. (Many of the best items are athletic clothes and shoes, which don’t really seem like “fashion” per se, but I digress).

Their shoe catalogue is particularly extensive. In athletic shoes alone, they have four categories:

To celebrate Prime Day, Amazon Prime members also get an extra 10 percent off any athletic shoes. If you don’t already have Amazon Prime, remember to get the 30-day free trial before Tuesday, or you won’t be eligible for any of the deals.

Of course, the Amazon Fashion section includes much more than shoes. In fact, there are 16,209 items for sale in this 70 percent off midsummer savings extravaganza. Take a look!
