Famed rocker Ozzy Osbourne recently opened up about his ongoing split from wife Sharon for the first time publicly.
As cheating rumors swirl around the lead singer, Osbourne said on “Good Morning America” that this is all just a “bump in the road” and that he’s “back on track again.”
Osbourne was on hand to promote his new History Channel program with his son Jack – “Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour.”
“It’s just a bump in the road,” the 67-year-old said, adding, “I’m back on track again.”
Jack, who got hitched to wife Lisa in 2012, backed up his father, saying: “As a married person, marriage is not like, ‘Hey, we’re married. All is good.’ It’s just life.”
“And we both lived happily ever after,” Ozzy added. “I’d like to find the person who wrote that and poke him in the eye with a burnt stick.”
The rock icon admitted that his marriage has seen some good days and some bad days, but that doesn’t mean the relationship is permanently kaput.
“Some days good, some days terrible, some days you just drift apart for a while,” he noted. “But you get back on the horse, you know.”
Ozzy and Sharon were seen together shopping at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills on Sunday. It was the second time the couple was seen publicly together this week.
“They’re happy hanging out together,” a source told People magazine last week. However, the source would not say that the two were back together.
Sharon and Ozzy split back in May after 33 years of marriage. Rumors suggested that Ozzy had had an affair with his hairstylist.
