Former Texas Republican Gov. Rick Perry announced Tuesday he will be one of the latest contestants on ABC’s long-running competition show “Dancing With The Stars.”
Perry will join Olympic athletes Ryan Lochte and Laurie Hernandez in season 23 of the show. Perry isn’t the first politician to dance for the coveted mirror ball trophy. Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay participated in Season 9.
I’m dedicated to helping #veterans however possible, and I’m going to use @dancingabc as a stage to do that. #DWTS pic.twitter.com/oQpfJrrYcC
