Tanqueray, which, according to The Spirits Business, is the world’s fourth best-selling gin, is bringing the multi-platinum hip-hop recording artist on-board to “creatively oversee” their new gin and juice campaign.
“When I wrote ‘Gin & Juice’ it was about good feelings and real experiences; it just naturally became a global anthem,” Snoop said in a statement regarding te partnership. “Tanqueray’s creative approach to representing ‘Gin & Juice’ as the drink I’m known for is authentic and it’s always been what we enjoy.”
Tanqueray seeks to bolster an already growing brand by attaching itself to someone known for his love of the cocktail; Snoop even dropped some love on it with the lyrics, “My homey Dr. Dre came through with a gang of Tanqueray.”
