A mob of rioters in Charlotte, N.C., assaulted a man in a parking garage, kicking him, punching him, dragging him on the pavement and eventually ripping his pants off.
The video surfaced a day after the city of Charlotte endured a second day of riots as a result of a police-involved shooting Monday that left a young black man dead.
The person recording the incident laughs at this point and exclaims, “Oh sh**!”
Another protester is on life support after being shot during the protests Wednesday evening. It is still unknown who shot the protester.
Before midnight, protesters blocked Interstate 277, according to WSOC, and threw objects at passing vehicles.
North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency Wednesday at the request of Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney, and deployed the state National Guard and State Highway Patrol to help secure the streets.
