Kanye West was in the middle of a concert at New York City’s Meadows Festival when he got the news that his wife Kim Kardashian West had been robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
He abruptly canceled the rest of the concert, telling the crowd, “I’m sorry. Family emergency, I have to stop the show.”
A spokeswoman confirmed that Kim Kardashian West, who was in Paris for Fashion Week, was robbed in her hotel room at gunpoint Sunday night by masked men dressed as police officers. She was not harmed.
“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers,” spokeswoman Ina Treciokas told CNN. “She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely.

West then reportedly flew to Paris to be with his wife.
