Ted Cruz is “doing everything humanly possible to defeat Hillary Clinton.”
Weeks after throwing his own support behind Donald Trump, the Texas senator stopped by the Tarrant County GOP headquarters on Wednesday to work the phones and continue to whip up support for the Republican nominee.

“I’m doing everything I can to turn conservatives out on Election Day,” Cruz told the Star-Telegram. “I’m doing everything I can to help keep Texas red, to turn out conservatives across the state, to win elections at the local and county level all the way up.”

“Hi, this is Ted Cruz,” the former presidential candidate can be heard telling Texas voters. “I was calling to encourage you to come out and vote on election day. This election is critical for the direction of our country, and I urge you to come out and support freedom, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.”
“You can vote by absentee ballot, and if you need help filling out an application for an absentee ballot, the Republican Party of Texas can help, or you can vote in person. Thank you, and God bless you.”
