The Swedish Cancer Society, an independent nonprofit, has changed an instructional breast examination video by making the boobs square-shaped after Facebook censored its content.

“Our main task is to raise and distribute money for cancer research,” the organization’s website reads. Other tasks “within the frame of the Swedish Cancer Society’s opinion-leading efforts is cancer prevention,” adding the video is a great resource for women (and men) to learn the nuances of a self-checkup.

The Swedish Cancer Society made the once circular animated breasts into squares, according to The Guardian, which could be interpreted as a means to appease Facebook.

Facebook apparently felt that viewing animated breasts in circular form was too much for the internet community to handle.

Content like “nudity or other sexually suggestive content” is not allowed on the social media website, according to Facebook’s Help Center.

“We’re very sorry, our team processes millions of advertising images each week, and in some instances we incorrectly prohibit ads. This image does not violate our ad policies. We apologize for the error and have let the advertiser know we are approving their ads,” Facebook told The Guardian.

Facebook removed a lingerie brand’s advertisements in July after it deemed the content inappropriate. Curvy Kate, a company that employs a diverse range of woman with various body types, published many examples of other businesses’ ads that show pictures of women scantily dressed and claimed that Facebook’s inconsistently applies its censorship rules.
