Republican nominee Donald Trump officially resolves possibly the greatest controversy to wrack the minds of voters in the 2016 election season in a Friday interview with the Eternal Word Television Network.

“I, I use, ‘big league,'” Trump responded about a statement Trump uses often on the campaign trail.

“Okay, my final question: It is perhaps the most portentious. We’ve been seeing on social media, we’ve been seeing it in the New York Times, in USA Today – Are you saying ‘bigly’ or ‘big league?'”

Once Trump responded, the interviewer interjected with, “I was right!”

“Good. Okay good,” Trump concluded.

The New York Times published an article Tuesday defending Trump by saying the term Trump uses is “big league,” but also defending the fact that “bigly” is very much a word.

Other news outlets like The Blaze, Mediaite, and Slate continued to drudge up the issue over the course of the election. Now that we have the official answer from Trump himself, the issue can finally be put to bed.
