The State Bar of Nevada, a public authority that regulates attorneys, temporarily suspended a lawyer’s license to practice after accusing him of stealing millions of dollars from several clients.

Rob Graham of Lawyers West, Ltd., was ordered Nov. 17 to transfer more than $1 million he was managing to a client’s new attorney, according to News 3LV.

Graham, who was entrusted with the legal duties to protect the funds and assets, reportedly never handed over the money. (RELATED: ‘Am I In The Twilight Zone’: Judge Loses It As Female Defendant Arrives In Court Pant-Less)

Only a couple of weeks later, Graham informed staff at his firm that they were all terminated and that he was leaving the law practice.

“Something else is going on here,” said Terry Freeman, a client who is having Graham manage his recently deceased father’s estate. “Something has to be really bad for him just to turn away and walk and close the door,” Freeman said, according to News 3LV.

Graham “had routinely and consistently failed to diligently distribute funds being held for clients in trusts, probates, and estates, and failed to communicate with these clients regarding the status of their money,” the State Bar says in its official complaint. He “lied to clients as to the true status of their client funds.”  (RELATED: ‘Tase His A** Right Now’: Furious Judge Throws Off Robe, Helps Detain Unruly Stalker)

The State Bar says Graham should be in possession of more than $13 million in trust for 51 clients. But after contacting his bank, the balance was only “in the low six figures,” reports News 3LV.

“My honest opinion is it’s lost,” Setta Freeman said, referring to her family’s money and assets. “I can’t see why else he would just disappear like this unless he emptied the trust account.”
