Melania and Barron Trump won’t be living in the White House when the president-elect takes office — at least, not immediately.

Donald and Melania were reluctant to move Barron to Washington wanting him to finish out the school year at his private school in Manhattan. Melania and her son will primarily be living in Trump Tower until Barron’s school year is finished.

However, it likely won’t be a problem if President-elect Trump wants to see his wife and son. According to reports, Trump will be making frequent trips from D.C. to New York — and it won’t take him long to do so.

“He can leave the Oval, drive to National [Airport], fly to LaGuardia, drive to Trump Tower and take the elevator to his penthouse in an hour,” a source told TMZ.

Many people have a longer commute to and from work, but having Air Force One and the Secret Service at your disposal does have some timely benefits.
