A New York Mets fan made a wild foul ball grab Thursday night while managing not to drop his baby.
The Mets fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-3, and there’s no doubt the fan’s grab was the highlight of the night. His wife, however, didn’t appear overly pleased with his decision to grab the foul ball while holding his kid.
Former ESPN commentator Keith Olbermann had one of the best videos of it on Twitter, despite the fact he captioned the video, “Idiot Mets fan catches foul ball at Dodger Stadium, nearly drops baby, wife ready to kill him.”

There are a couple things to unpack here. First and foremost, that catch is insane. There’s no other way around it.
Secondly, Olbermann calling this guy an “idiot” is laughable. He’s a borderline hero. He reached up and made the grab without dropping his kid. He deserves a medal, not ridicule.
