Sean Hannity responded to the latest insult from MSNBC host Joe Scarborough Monday, tweeting that he “crushed” Scarborough on radio and TV and that the “Morning Joe” host is “desperate for attention.”
The feud between the two has escalated over the past several months as they have taken shots at one another on Twitter and during their respective TV shows. Hannity repeatedly refers to Scarborough as “Liberal Joe,” and calls him out for low ratings, unstable behavior, and claims Scarborough is only interested in keeping his job.
Liberal Joe @JoeNBC is boring low rated establishment TV. Joe calls The @Potus a Schmuck, goon, & thug just to please D.C. NYC elites & Mika

Liberal Joe is desperate for attention now. Lashing out @Potus me, singing bad songs on Colbert. I crushed him on radio and TV #epicfailure https://t.co/wbLMeBLp7B

Sad truth about Liberal Joe is this; He had to become an MSNBC liberal to keep his job. @greta refused to change. Joe sold his soul Sheep TV

The war between the two TV hosts has flared up since President Donald Trump took on “Morning Joe” via Twitter mocking co-host Mika Brzezinski for having plastic surgery on her face. Hannity has criticized Scarbrough for being phony, disrespectful to the president, and described him as mentally unbalanced.
Scarborough refers to “Hannity”as “certain cable news shows” and has described him as “gross” and “repulsive.”
Scarborough recently announced he was leaving the Republican Party on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” saying, “You have to ask yourself, what in fact is the Republican party willing to do? How far are they willing to go? How much of this country and their values are they willing to sell out?”
He was also the musical guest on Colbert that night, and performed his song “Monkey House,” with Hannity saying, “don’t quit your day job.”
