New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was booed by fans at a New York Mets game after he caught a foul ball.
The Mets were playing the St. Louis Cardinals Tuesday night when a foul ball hit by the Cardinals’ Paul DeJong made its way to Christie’s section. Christie reached out and snagged the ball with his left hand.
“A souvenir for Chris Christie. Are you kidding me?” an announcer said, as the fans in the stadium started booing.
“Nice to see him get from the beach chair to the ball park,” the other announcer said with some snark.

Chris Christie didn’t even have to get up to catch that ball. It just gravitated into his orbit
