Sean Spicer will not be showing off his moves on next season’s “Dancing With The Stars,” a source confirmed to TMZ Thursday.
Sources close to the former White House press secretary told the outlet that while he was “flattered” to be asked to appear on the show, but he had to decline because he will be too busy with an “overwhelming number of commitments in the Fall.” (RELATED: Rick Perry Gets Booted From ‘Dancing With The Stars’)
The source added that, “He’s not a good dancer.”
According to another report, Spicer turned it down after discussing it “with his wife.”
Previous reports said that Spicer was in talks with the show.
“Right now just talking,” a source close to ABC told Variety.”Nothing beyond talking about casting. We’re still so early in the process.
Adding that it was very early in the process and that there’s “no one we’re dying for right now.”
It would not be the first time a politician tapped their way into America’s hearts on the popular show. Most notably former Texas governor Rick Perry was a contestant on the show, but did not make it all the way.
“DWTS” will enter its 25th Season in the fall.
