Trump To Have Dinner With Key Conservative Activists

Alex Pfeiffer | White House Correspondent

President Donald Trump will host a dinner at the White House Monday night with nine conservative activists.

The dinner comes as the White House is set to roll out its tax plan and as Senate Republicans continue to struggle with efforts to repeal Obamacare. A White House official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the dinner is “on a wide variety of issues but I’m sure tax reform will one of the major ones.”

The official told The Daily Caller that the attendees for the dinner are: Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List; Ed Feulner, founder and acting president of The Heritage Foundation; Tim Goeglein, vice president of external relations for Focus on the Family; former Republican Ohio Rep. Bob McEwen, executive director of Council for National Policy; Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women for America; Tim Phillips, president of Americans for Prosperity; Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union; Leonard Leo, executive vice president of The Federalist Society; and Ralph Reed, chairman of the Faith and Freedom Coalition.
