It’s no secret that The Daily Vaper has taken the world by storm in recent weeks. We got the attention of Kat Timpf after breaking the story of the Fox News personality vaping before her appearance on Kennedy Tonight. At first, Timpf wondered why her public display of vaping was news at all. She was shocked by our thoughtful response and was eventually forced to admit The Daily Vaper “is my life now.”
Today, we continued to make headwinds in the world of media, even beyond Fox News personalities like Timpf and fellow vaper Sean Hannity. Will Sommer, an editor at The Hill, tweeted today that he was amazed by our new vaping vertical:

Apparently, we are doing something right. Our mission at The Daily Vaper is spread all the vaping news and analysis you don’t find in traditional media outlets. Vaping has the potential to save millions of lives, and this information is being stonewalled by America’s so-called “gatekeepers.” The more we amaze members of the media, the more awareness we raise about this important cause.
Why was Sommer so amazed at The Daily Vaper’s work? He was responding to a meme we posted on Twitter:

As you can see, the meme depicts a woman’s facial expressions. On the left, you see the look of disgust the woman makes when she sees “you” smoking traditional cigarettes. On the right, you see the more appealing, seductive look the woman makes when she sees “you” vaping.
The meme speaks for itself. The primary reason millions have quit smoking in favor of vaping is, of course, the comparative healthfulness. But another oft-cited benefit is that those who switch to vaping no longer reek of the pungent cigarette smell that emanates from smokers. This change can have drastic effects on one’s love life. As one Twitter user responded to Sommer’s tweet:

We’re not saying vaping is an aphrodisiac. But we’re also not saying it’s not. At the very least, living longer and smelling better should make one more attractive to any woman – or any person for that matter. (Think about how many women say they would NEVER date someone who smoked). This fact may amaze Sommer, but to vapers everywhere it is common sense.
