The NBA player was released early Sunday morning without bail.

The veteran forward spent 14 years playing for a handful of professional basketball teams including the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks. He won championships with both Detroit and Chicago.

Rodman was entered into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
