LeBron James had a very weird Instagram post Tuesday in preparation for breaking 30,000 points in his career.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star is just seven points short from joining the exclusive club, and apparently he thinks it’s a lock to happen tonight.

James posted a photo of himself as a young kid and captioned the post:

Wanna be one of the first to Congratulate you on this accomplishment/achievement tonight that you’ll reach! Only a handful has reach/seen it too and while I know it’s never been a goal of yours from the beginning try(please try) to take a moment for yourself on how you’ve done it! The House you’re about to be apart of has only 6 seats in it(as of now) but 1 more will be added and you should be very proud and honored to be invited inside. There’s so many people to thank who has help this even become possible(so thank them all) and when u finally get your moment(alone) to yourself smile, look up to the higher skies and say THANK YOU! So with that said, Congrats again Young King! 1 Love! #striveforgreatness #thekidfromakron

What the hell is he thinking? This appears to me to be nothing more than a major cry for help. What type of person congratulates them before doing something, and does it in a serious way?

I’d understand this if it was done as a joke, but that caption clearly shows he’s not kidding around. LeBron James means every word he wrote. “Congrats again Young King” is one of the cockiest lines I’ve ever seen from an athlete. Where is the humility? Where is the blocking out of the noise and just getting to work?

Cleveland’s downfall continues, and this Instagram post makes me think it’s not coming to an end anytime soon.
