New York Knicks center Enes Kanter suffered a nasty injury to his mouth in a recent practice.
Kanter, who is a native of Turkey, posted a photo of the injury, and it’s not for the weak of heart.
The NBA star has skin just dangling from the side of mouth. I wouldn’t recommend checking out this photo if you plan on eating later today.

Ouch. That looks absurdly painful. Hurting your mouth is among the worst things that can happen on this planet. That’s why we all hate getting strep throat, a cold, the flu, hurting our teeth or anything in the mouth region. We use it all day, every day, which means you’re just going to be in constant pain.
It’s not like a foot injury, where you can just stay off of it for a few days. You can’t eat or talk without using your mouth. The pain never ends. I have no idea how Kanter plans on fixing that up.
The only upside to this injury is that you might get a cool scar and you get a cool story. That all comes later and doesn’t help in the moment. Sure, women dig scars, but you still have to suffer through the pain first. Best of luck to Kanter because that’s not going to be fun to deal with for the next few days.
