The country music community has heavy hearts today, as legendary singer Daryle Singletary has passed away in his Tennessee home at the age of 46.
McAlpin Entertainment first reported Singletary’s passing in a Facebook post.
“Completely heartbroken to learn of the passing of our friend Daryle Singletary this morning,” the company wrote. “He was one of the best men we’ve had the privilege to meet and work with in this business, both professionally and personally. Please keep Daryle’s wife, Holly, and their four young children in your prayers.”
Daryle is best known for his hits “I Let Her Lie,” “Too Much Fun” and “Amen Kind of Love,” all of which cracked the top five on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. While he has not released many hits since these songs, Daryle Singletary remained a staple of the country music community.
Daryle is survived by his wife Holly, and their four children Mercer, Jonah, Nora Carolina, and Charlotte-Rose.
Several members of the country music community expressed their sorrow online.
