Jennifer Lopez is returning to the big screen with her romantic comedy “Second Act” that will hit theaters in November, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Peter Segal-directed comedy will feature the 48-year-old actress playing “a big box store worker” who “reinvents her life and her life-story and shows Madison Avenue what street smarts can do,” according to the description on IMDb. Lopez stars alongside Milo Ventimiglia, Leah Remini and Vanessa Hudgens in the romantic comedy directed by Segal, who is also responsible for “50 First Dates.”
The “Shades of Blue” star last appeared on the big screen in the 2015 psychological thriller “The Boy Next Door.”
During the last few years, the “Jenny from the Block” singer has been working on her music career, releasing in 2017 her second-full length Spanish album, “Amor, Amor, Amor.”
“Second Act” is set to hit theaters November 21, just in time for Thanksgiving holiday.
