White House press secretary Sarah Sanders put a reporter in his place Monday after he asked about the specifics of concealed carry legislation Monday.

The Hill’s Jordan Fabian said, “Several on Capitol Hill want concealed carry reciprocity to be included in a package of gun legislation. Is that something the White House also supports?”

Sanders, however, had already answered this question.

“I just answered this for Maura, but…”

“It wasn’t clear to me which is why I re-asked it.”

“I know the president has been supportive of it in the past but I haven’t spoke about it recently recently.”

Sanders fielded a number of questions during the briefing Monday. In an exchange, with CNN’s Jim Acosta, he asked whether Trump thought he could have “saved the day” in reference to the president saying he would have rushed into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School during a mass shooting.
