Two Fox News anchors have been exchanging some muted barbs over what they do.
Sean Hannity, a staunch conservative and consistent defender of President Trump, tweeted Friday:
While Shep is a friend with political views I do not share, and great at breaking news, he is clueless about what we do every day. Hannity breaks news daily-Warrant on a Trump assoc, the unmasking scandal, leaking intel, Fisa abuse, HRC lawbreaking, dossier and more REAL NEWS! 9p https://t.co/zJpnnyFTtP

Hannity tweeted this in response to Shepard Smith saying “some of our opinion programming is there strictly to be entertaining” in an interview with Time.

Laura Ingraham also hit back against Shep’s comments:
Always liked Shep, but his comments were inconsiderate & inaccurate. The hard working team at the Ingraham Angle does real reporting, develops impt sources and scores big interviews. Very proud of them. https://t.co/3aR1EHAK3Z

This isn’t the first time that Sean Hannity has criticized another Fox News star. When Megyn Kelly was at Fox in 2016, Hannity said that she “clearly” supported Hillary Clinton. (RELATED: ANALYSIS: How The Sean Hannity-Megyn Kelly Fight Is Playing Around Town)
The two later seemingly made up though, with Kelly tweeting:
