On the inaugural episode of the Daily Daily Caller Podcast it’s James Comey Day! The former Director of the FBI sat down with former Clinton Administration official (and current journalist in good standing) George Stephanopoulos to discuss his new, soon-to-be New York Times Bestseller, “A Higher Loyalty,” which is going to be released tomorrow.
We discuss the softball interview with few follow-up questions or any real substance that will likely add another zero or two to Comey’s royalty check.
Comey compares President Donald Trump to a mob boss without explaining why, if the former FBI boss felt so uncomfortable about how the new administration was conducting itself, he didn’t resign and tell the world; or why he didn’t talk in the ensuing year, opting to write a book about it instead. Seems “the last boy scout” in Washington, DC, didn’t feel compelled to “warn” the American public about what he sees as a man unfit to be president until there was a big, fat check in it for him.
We also discuss David Hogg’s latest anti-Second Amendment “protest,” the “walk-out of everywhere on 4/20.” Hogg seems unaware of what 4/20 is known for, and it’s not a march…unless it’s a march to buy Doritos at the 7-11.
