Trump: Comey And McCabe ‘Committed Many Crimes’

President Donald Trump took stark aim at former FBI director and deputy director Andrew McCabe in a Monday morning tweet.

Trump’s tweet follows an hour-long interview between Comey and ABCNew’s George Stephanopoulos Sunday evening and the recent release of a Department of Justice inspector general report on McCabe Friday. The President noted the oft-repeated charge that Comey began drafting his July 2016 statement declaring his intent not to charge democratic nominee Hillary Clinton with a crime  before he had even completed an interview with her.

Trump also referenced the DOJ IG report’s findings that McCabe lied on four separate times to investigators and is guilty of “lack of candor.” The President reacted immediately to the report Friday charging:
