A military mom and spouse handed a special note to President Trump at a Mother’s Day event last week.
The note was shared with The Daily Caller by a family member, and it is more than heartwarming.
Air Force mom and wife Lisa Stalford wrote to President Trump:
“President and Mrs. Trump,
I wish to express to you my gratitude for the invitation to the Mother’s Day reception at the White House on May 9th. It is such an honor to be invited and recognized as a mother of a military member. I would like to take this opportunity and tell you a little bit about my Air Force Family”
Stalford shared details about her husband who served in the Air Force for 23 years. She also shared details about her four sons who have all either served or are committed to serving in the United States Air Force.
“As you can imagine, the receipt of this invitation to recognize mothers and spouses of military members means a lot to me. I am, without a doubt, a proud military wife and mother!” she also wrote.

At the event, Stalford handed a note to Trump as he walked out.
At the event, Trump told the military spouses and moms, “Your love, resilience and courage uplifts our heroes and indeed our nation.”
“We are forever in your debt. I also want to thank all of the spouses here today who are serving in uniform. You are an inspiration to us all, a great inspiration.” (RELATED: Military Spouse Turns To Trump, Shakes His Hand And Hands Him A Special Note)
