ABC’s “Roseanne” lead the night once again in the ratings race Tuesday, scoring a 2.6 rating in the coveted demographic of adults ages 18-49.
According to Broadcasting Cable, the network beat out the rest of its competition in primetime coming in with an average of 1.2/5 share rating in Nielsen’s overnights.
The series has been setting ratings records since its one-hour debut on March 27.
Last week, the series earned an average of a 2.6 rating among adults ages 18-49 in overnight Nielsen ratings with 10.2 million viewers.
The news comes as the star of the sitcom, Roseanne Barr, assured her fans that, despite reports that next season the show will be less political, it will be “even braver” than the current one.
“ABC has been nothing but supportive to me and my show and all of our ideas. The press has misrepresented what ABC President said about our new season,” the 65-year-old comedian tweeted.

“Don’t worry, #Roseanne show fans-next season will be even braver/funnier/timely than this season, despite what anyone mistakenly says,” she added.
