A new internet trend is spreading like wildfire — but when the White House made a light-hearted video about the trend, it was just too much for many in the media to handle.

The trend asks people to listen to a clip of someone saying a word and then asking if they hear “Laurel” or “Yanny.”

White House staffers and Sarah Sanders and Vice President Mike Pence made a video about it:
