President Donald Trump blasted Democratic lawmakers and members of the media for mistakenly blaming 2014 photos of migrant children detention camps on his administration.
Democrats mistakenly tweet 2014 pictures from Obama’s term showing children from the Border in steel cages. They thought it was recent pictures in order to make us look bad, but backfires. Dems must agree to Wall and new Border Protection for good of country…Bipartisan Bill!

The photos stem from a 2014 Arizona Central story showing migrant children in steel cages. The cages were implemented at the height of the Central American migrant crisis under the Obama administration.

The president appears to have become aware of the viral photos retweeted by Democratic lawmakers from a “Fox & Friends” segment early Tuesday morning.
“Those were pictures from 2014 when President Trump was a successful businessman in New York,” a Fox News host said. “When somebody else occupied the White House here. All of a sudden they started deleting those tweets. It didn’t fit their narrative about this president and the border.”
