CNN commentator Keith Boykin had a hard time denouncing Samantha Bee calling Ivanka Trump a “c*nt” on Thursday and ultimately blamed the president for her actions.

Bee referred to the first daughter as a “feckless cunt” during her late night comedy show on Wednesday night, and Boykin seemed to struggle with saying outright that Bee’s comments were wrong.
“Well, um…I think the point she was trying to make was about immigration,” Boykin said, his eyes looking down. “I think the point got lost in her comment.”
Boykin let out a big sigh before stating, “I don’t know how people are responding to it…”
Bolduan interrupted Boykin, clearly displeased with his hemming and hawing, and asserted, “It’s horrible!”
However, the pair quickly got back on good terms when Boykin spun the narrative to blame President Trump for Bee’s actions.
“I think that the larger point here that’s missing is the culture that is being generated from the president and the top,” Boykin declared, before resorting back to Roseanne Barr’s racist tweets from earlier in the week. “Donald Trump exists to divide us — everything he does it divisive.”
