Randy Wadkins, the Democratic nominee for Mississippi’s first congressional district, is apparently having a hard time remembering exactly what seat he is running for.

In a tracking video captured by America Rising PAC, Wadkins tries and fails twice to tell the camera who he is and whether he is running for Senate or the House of Representatives.

“Hey, my name is Randy Wadkins, I am the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate,” he begins before realizing he is not actually running for Senate. “Er, sorry let’s back up.”

“Ha ha, careful!” David Baria, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate chimes in.

“Let’s try it again — cut,” Wadkins says.

“My name is Randy Wadkins, I am the United States House of Representatives candidate from the — ” he fumbles again.

Baria eventually has to go for the assist and explains, “I’ll tell you who he is. His name is Randy Watkins, and he is the Democratic nominee for Congress in the first congressional district, and he’s the guy, even though he might have had a little difficulty getting that out.”
