Actress Alyssa Milano added dramatic flair Sunday to her ongoing opposition to President Donald Trump with a “Handmaid’s Tale” themed protest of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Dressed in a bonnet and red cape, Milano frowned over a sign that read, “Never Kavanaugh, Never Gilead.”

Milano was participating in the #RiseUpForRoe tour of women — including former Planned Parenthood chief Cecile Richards and Chelsea Clinton — who have tied the future of landmark abortion decision Roe v. Wade to stopping Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Milano was also part of a much larger protest that included other women, also dressed as handmaids and carrying similar signs.

In her haste to publicize the protest, however, Milano violated one of the cardinal rules of social media: never pose with a sign that can be easily photoshopped.

And the internet did not disappoint.

Other memes suggested that Milano was missing her “big, bad wolf,” that her costume was actually intended to be Strawberry Shortcake, and that she had lost a bet to Vice President Mike Pence.
