The Cleveland Browns fired head coach Hue Jackson Monday morning in his third season with the team.

Well, I think it’s safe to say we all knew it was only a matter of time before Jackson was shown the door. He didn’t win a single game last season, and had only won two so far this season. It was about time a move was made. It’s the NFL. You can’t wait forever to start winning, especially after drafting quarterback Baker Mayfield with the top pick. (RELATED: Cleveland Browns Snap Shocking Cold Streak Involving Johnny Manziel)

According to Ian Rapoport, the owner of the Browns wanted to keep him. The general manager didn’t. It’s interesting the owner didn’t win out on this one, but they must feel there’s certainly a better upgrade out there waiting for them.

Jackson now leaves the organization with the abysmal record of 3-36-1. That has to be one of the worst coaching percentages in the history of sports. Absolutely awful.

Well, it was a fun ride, Hue! It feels like we hardly even knew you before you were shown the door in under three seasons. Better luck to the next team to take a chance on you!
