Demaryius Thomas, the Houston Texans’ newest wide receiver, isn’t sweating his abrupt trade from Denver.
The trade, which was made final last Tuesday, offloaded Thomas to the 6-3 Texans from the 3-6 Broncos just before the deadline. (RELATED: NFL Week 9 Wrap Up: Here Are The Best Moments You May Have Missed)
Oddly enough, Thomas returned to Mile High Stadium not a week later to play against his former team.
And after the Texans eked out a 19-17 win away, Thomas had some choice words for the team that traded him.
Asked what it was like to play against the Broncos, he answered, “That’s what they do over there. I ain’t a part of that no more. We like to win over here.”
And while it doesn’t seem like much love was lost on Thomas’ part, a tender moment between the former Bronco and Peyton Manning’s kids occurred after the game:
