Georgia fans probably won’t be pleased with CFP chair Rob Mullen’s take on Michigan being ranked fourth.
Mullens said the following when explaining why the Wolverines are ahead of the Bulldogs, according to Saturday Down South:
Well, I mean, Michigan has a very strong resume. They’ve won nine games in a row. Only loss is to the No. 3 ranked team on the board in the first game of the year, and again, they’ve got wins over Northwestern at Northwestern, at Michigan State, and a dominant win over Penn State, the No. 1 defense in the country. Strong resume.
I hope you all soak up those words, Georgia fans. Soak them up nice and good. You can complain, moan and whine all you want, but it’s not going to get your Bulldogs into the playoff.
I’ve been saying to this to anybody who would listen. Michigan is simply a better team and deserves to be in the playoff more than Georgia. You can disagree with me, but you’ll be wrong.
Remember, kids: facts don’t give a damn about your feelings. I’m pretty sure Thomas Jefferson once said that. Don’t quote me on that. (RELATED: The Latest College Football AP Poll Is Here. Do You Agree With Number Three?)

It is going to be a meltdown of epic proportions when Michigan gets in over the Bulldogs. I can’t wait for that day.
The river of tears from bitter SEC fans will be amazing. Bring it on!
