Fans attending a Garth Brooks concert in Florida better be ready to spend some big money on hotel rooms.
According to a tweet from Darren Rovell, hotel rooms 39 miles away from the University of Florida stadium are going for $1,999 on the night of the concert, which is Saturday. The room a day later will only cost people $91. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Hottest Women On Instagram)
This Saturday, Garth Brooks will perform at University of Florida’s Ben Griffin Stadium in front of 75,000 fans. The Fairfield Inn located 39 miles away is charging $1,999 for that night. The next night for the same room? $91! (H/T @BrentASJax) pic.twitter.com/wJo5BHaZZs

I’m a big Garth Brooks guy, but I’m not sure it’s worth shelling out $2,000 to stay 39 miles away. It’s not even a hotel close by.
It’s the Fairfield nearly 40 miles away! That’s outrageous. I just tried a search on Hotels.com, and there’s virtually nothing available. It says 98 percent of all hotels are booked up for the concert.

Brooks, who is a legend in the country music game, better put on an incredible show if people are spending this kind of money to come see him.
I’d be willing to spend a solid chunk of money to see him perform live, but once you start getting into the five digit range on hotel accommodations alone, I think I’m out!
Now, if George Strait was the man putting on the show, I might be willing to have a different conversation. For Brooks, I’m just not spending that kind of cash, and it’s hard to believe so many other people are.
