We have some photos from the fifth episode of the final “Game of Thrones” season, and they’re outstanding.
The photos released from HBO show Jon Snow and Davos together before what appears to be a battle, Daenerys looking depressed as all hell, Cersei smiling menacingly with the Mountain in the background and Jon, Tyrion and Davos gazing out at the wall of King’s Landing. I think we all know why Daenerys might not be full of smiles. Her best friend and loyal advisor Missandei got her head cut off at the end of episode four.
My guess is you can count on Grey Worm and Dany looking to fill up the streets with blood. Good thing Cersei didn’t purposely surround herself with women and children as human shields.
Oh, wait. That’s exactly what she did.
Sunday night really can’t get here soon enough. It’s going to be epic, and I can’t wait. I’m not sure tensions have ever been higher in the history of the show. (RELATED: ‘Game Of Thrones‘ Is Excellent In New Episode ‘The Last Of The Starks’)
The battle we’ve long waited for is finally here. It’s Cersei vs. the good guys. It’s the 1980 Olympics, and I hope we’re all cheering for America (Jon and Dany) in this one.
Given the advantages on paper Cersei has, we might need a bit of a miracle ourselves if we want Jon and Dany to walk out alive.
