President Donald Trump’s victory over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election depended largely on his ability to pierce the “Blue Wall” and win over typically Democratic states in the Rust Belt. Trump’s ability to once again appeal to voters in the critical states of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania, which represent 54 electoral votes, will be key to any 2020 reelection strategy in November.
