O.J. Simpson is a huge supporter of the NCAA letting players profit while playing college sports.

The NCAA is moving closer and closer to allowing players to profit off their likeness and image. The organization’s top governing body endorsed the idea of players finally being allowed to make a few dollars Wednesday, according to ESPN. While the complete plan and format isn’t finalized, players will be allowed to do ad deals based on their likeness and image. Simpson is a big believer in the move and said it’s “about time” the NCAA let players get paid. You can watch his full comments below.

Who would have guessed O.J. Simpson would have been the voice of reason here? No matter what you think of the Juice, who beat the most famous double-murder case in the past 100 years, he’s correct about this.

It is about time players are allowed to make a few dollars. It’s long past due and Simpson is correct on all his points.

Will there still be corruption in the sport? I’m sure there will be. Boosters always find a way to bend the rules or just break them.

Is it still worth adapting and updating the rules? Absolutely. It’s anti-American to not let people make money.

As I always say, Simpson’s Twitter feed is legit. He has shockingly insightful commentary on a bunch of different topics.

I can’t wait to see what he says next!
