O.J. Simpson isn’t pleased with people ignoring social distancing guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The legendary NFL running back tweeted a video Sunday reacting to coronavirus shutdown protests around the country and people not making safe decisions. It turns out, the Juice has a bit of a religious streak in him. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

“God gave us a brain to use to use that brain to defeat all viruses and diseases,” Simpson told his audience. He also urged people to ignore the news and government officials, and listen to the medical professionals.

I know I’ve said it many times before, but I have to say it again. O.J. Simpson has become the unexpected star of the coronavirus crisis.

He’s out here providing some shockingly rational commentary on the crisis. If you would have told me we’d be in this situation 10 years ago, I would have laughed in your face.

Society has come to a grinding halt, and Simpson is on Twitter urging people to be smart and make good decisions. We sure do live in a wild and bizarre world.

It’ll be interesting to what commentary the Juice provides next. Of all the people I never expected to handle this crisis so well, he’d be right at the top of the list.
