A man allegedly attempted to rape a teenager in the hallway of a medical center in Brooklyn.
The teenager had arrived at the medical center Sunday around 1 p.m. for a cardiology appointment via scooter, according to a report published by the New York Post.

The suspect approached her as she waited in the hallway for her mother, the outlet reported. The man walked up to the teenage girl and reportedly exposed himself before he allegedly grabbed her. The man knocked the girl to the floor, according to the New York Post. The man was yelling at her to “shut up” and “stop screaming,” police said, the outlet reported. The attempted rape suspect remains on the run. The victim was not harmed during the incident.
