Celebrities like Bella Thorne, Mariah Carey, Sarah Jessica Parker and more have spoken out in defense of Britney Spears following her plea to end her 13-year conservatorship.

Spears broke her silence in court Wednesday and called her conservatorship, owned by her father Jamie Spears, “abusive” and said she had been forced to work, take the psychotropic drug lithium and be under birth control against her will, NBC News reported.

“After 13 years of abuse she finally speaks, listening makes me wanna cry,” Disney star Thorne wrote in her post Thursday on Instagram. (RELATED: Britney Spears’ Social Media Manager Says The Star ‘Creates Her Own Posts’ After She Shares Bizarre Videos)

“She’s a human being worked to the bone her whole life [without] a choice,” she added. “Imagine your life like hers. Could [you] do it ? Could [you] be brave enough to tell your story in a room full of judgmental people who don’t want to believe you for their own personal benefit.”(RELATED: Britney Spears’ Fans Not Convinced New Video Update Is Actually Recent)

“Please Judge Brenda Penny do the right thing for our girl and let her be free @britneyspears,” Thorne concluded in her post, along with a throwback picture of the “Toxic” hitmaker.

“The View” co-host Meghan McCain said she’s worried about the pop star’s “safety” following her explosive testimony and said a court date on the matter couldn’t wait.

“We love you Britney!!!” superstar Carey tweeted to her millions of followers. “Stay strong.” The post was noted by the Hollywood Reporter.

Spears has been under a conservatorship since 2008 that oversaw her and her estate after she went through a public spell of mental health issues.
